Scope of Supply
The scope of supply included the provision of study, configuration, parameterization, and operational testing services for EDP for the Protection Relays associated with the 800 kVA and 1000 kVA transformer installed at the ETAR Quinta da Bomba-Corroios.
System Description
In the settings and test was included the following equipment:
- 2 MT Protection Relays, WIC1-2.
Description of Activity
The ENGIPROT team was responsible for analyzing the existing configurations of the protection relays and adapting them to the functionalities required by the end customer. It also analyzed the parameterization study of the equipment and performed its configuration. On site the ENGIPROT team carried out all the functional tests on the protection functions and operational tests on the protection, in the presence of the EDP Distribuição supervisor, using Omicron CMC 256 plus secondary test equipment.
Customer Benefits
With the inclusion of ENGIPROT in the configuration, parameterization and operational testing of protection relays, EUROVOLT secured competences that are not its core business, thus allowing the development of turnkey solutions.
