REN QUALIFICATION - RTU EQUIPMENT

ENGIPROT has successfully completed the qualification process of an RTU (Remote Terminal Unit) equipment, with REN, applicable in the integration of systems with their Control Centres.

The qualified equipment is the iRTUcompact S#31 from iGrid T&D.

This solution will be applicable to energy production plants with rated power above 1 MVA, intensive energy consumers that provide Regulation Reserve Band services or any other electrical system that is integrated with REN's Control Centres.

ENGIPROT and iGrid T&D established a technical and commercial partnership, and ENGIPROT is now the exclusive distributor and integrator of this manufacturer in Portugal.

This partnership allows ENGIPROT to provide its partners with various equipment and systems solutions, based on the iGrid-T&D hardware and software platforms, with great adaptation capability to the particular needs of each project.
