Scope of Supply
The scope of supply included the provision of studies, configuration, parameterization, operating tests for EDP of the Protection Relays associated with the 2.4 MVA transformer, installed at the MCG mind for metal-Carregado Plant.
System Description
In the settings and test was included the following equipment:
- 1 MV Protection Relay, WIC1-2.
Description of Activity
The ENGIPROT team was responsible for analyzing the existing configurations of protection relays and adapting them to the functionalities required by the end customer. In addition, he analyzed the parameterization study of the equipment and carried out its configuration.
On site, the ENGIPROT team carried out all the functional tests of the protection functions and the protection operation tests, in the presence of an EDP Distribuição supervisor, using Omicron CMC 356 plus secondary testing equipment.
With the inclusion of ENGIPROT in the configuration, parameterization and exploration tests of the protection relay, ALFERPAC assured competences that are not its focus of activity, thus allowing the development of “turnkey” solutions.
