Project Description

ENERGETUS is one of the leading EPC (engineering – procurement – construction) companies in the region for medium sized power plants. Focusing on Integrated Solutions based on Renewable Energy Power plants (Photovoltaic, Wind, Hydro), ENERGETUS can deliver any solution to provide sustainable energetic autonomy to its customers, including Battery Energy Storage Systems, Hydrogen and conventional power plants.

The Torres Vedras Photovoltaic Plant is the first of a series of projects that mark ENERGETUS’ expansion in the PV Energy Generation area which will be supervised and controlled in the new dispatch centre, prepared to optimize the production and increase the availability levels.
This plant has a licensed power of 1 MVA and is located near the city of Torres Vedras. The connection to E-REDES Distribution Grid was successfully achieved on May 3 rd 2023 and the Grid Code Compliance tests we performed successfully on May 29 th 2023.

ENERGETUS will be responsible for building other similar solar plant projects, which will also include PAC Systems supplied by ENGIPROT, to be connected to grid during 2023 and 2024. More information can be found here:

Customer Benefits

ENGIPROT team’s know how on the different components of the Protection, Automation and Control Systems, allowed the client to have one single Portuguese based company responsible for equipment configuration, setting, testing, commissioning and integration with E-REDES, avoiding the need to manage multiple suppliers and service providers to complete the project, and obtain the Grid Connection Agreement.
