Scope of Supply
The supply includes the provision of research services, configuration, parameterisation, testing and commissioning Protection Relays the Combined Cycle Power Plant, Luanda Refinery, connection of a 60kV line connecting the substation of Cacuaco, lines of 60kV interconnection between existing substation and new CCRL, two transformers of 60/11kV, two transformers of 11/15kV, 9 cells to 11kV and 5 cells to 15kV.
Integration of all protection relays in the command and control system ABB (DCS).
System Description
In the settings and test was included the following equipment:
- 14 Protection Relays EFACEC TPU S220, to the cells of 11kV and 15kV;
- 5 Protection Relays EFACEC TPUS220 for 60kV lines, interconnection and Bus Protection;
- 2 Protection Relays ABB RED615 Differential;
- 1 Protection Relay ABB RED670 in 60kV lines (Distance Protection);
- 2 Protection Relay EFACEC TPU TD420 for Transformers 60/11kV;
- 2 Protection Relay EFACEC TPU TD420 for Transformers 11/15kV;
- Integration of all protection relays in the command and control system ABB (DCS)

Activity Description
ENGIPROT work team was responsible for the following tasks: ENGIPROT foi responsável pela execução das configurações em fábrica realização de ensaios em obra e cooperação com os técnicos da ABB para a integração dos relés de proteção no Centro de Comando ABB (DCS) adaptação de todas as configurações e parametrizações com vista às funcionalidades requeridas pelo cliente.
Em obra a equipa da ENGIPROT realizou todos os testes funcionais às funções de proteção e comissionamento de todas as celas de média tensão, assim como dos 60 kV, na presença dos supervisores da EFACEC Engenharia, utilizando um equipamento de ensaios secundários OMICRON 356.

Com a inclusão da ENGIPROT na equipa de ensaios e comissionamento a EFACEC assegurou a realização dos ensaios em paralelo com as restantes atividades de comissionamento da instalação,permitindo a redução do prazo final de conclusão do projeto.
